The laptop sale that I began on 68kMLA will be conducted here instead.

http://68kmla.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12656

Please re-post your lot numbers; the ones posted on 68kMLA will not be honored. Send me a PM if you are interested in a laptop.

Look, you can edit old posts here. What a luxury! I will list all of the laptops here and update this top thread as I test them.

Lot 1, Unit 1: PB 145B, untested
Lot 1, Unit 2: PB 140, untested
Lot 1, Unit 3: PB 145B, untested
Lot 1, Unit 4: PB 190, untested
Lot 1, Unit 5: PB 5300c, untested

Lot 1, Unit 6: PB 520 good condition, see 68kMLA thread for pics

Lot 2, Unit 1: PB 1400cs/117. Turns on immediately when plugged in? Screen OK but dim. No battery or removable drive. No book cover, although I have one available. 44 MB RAM, 1 GB HD. Ports door intact. Occasionally "clicks", dunno what it is. QuickTime movie on desktop played OK, good sound. Good latch, good hinge, good case with no cracks.
Lot 2, Unit 2: PB 145B, untested
Lot 2, Unit 3: PB 170, untested
Lot 2, Unit 4: PB 170, untested
Lot 2, Unit 5: PB 160, untested

Lot 2, Unit 6: PB 520 good condition, 12 MB RAM, screen OK

Lot 3, Unit 1: PB 1400c. Turns on immediately when plugged in? (maybe its supposed to?) Screen OK but dim. No battery or removable drive. Includes case-colored book cover. Missing or bad HD, boots to question mark. Good latch, good hinge, dusty case with no feet, bulging part, maybe dropped? Ports door intact. Turned it's self off after 30 sec.
Lot 3, Unit 2: PB 190, untested
Lot 3, Unit 3: PB Duo 230. Screen OK, kind of dim, but I think it's by design. Boots, Hard drive 120 MB, occasionally clicks, maybe going bad, but it works fine. 4 MB RAM. Dead battery. Case is in quite good condition, rubber bits are starting to decay a little bit due to age.
Lot 3, Unit 4: PB G3 400 MHz. No turn on. Lifting keyboard shows a 10 GB HD and some kind of memory installed. Looks like a complete unit but not working. Missing 2 feet.
Lot 3, Unit 5: PB G3, untested
Lot 3, Unit 6: Kanga G3, no turn on

Lot 4, Unit 1: PB 3400c, boots, has a CD drive. Missing port cover door. Dead Li-Ion battery (it does attempt to charge, can maybe revive) has a plastic piece missing. Screen OK. 1.3 GB HD, 32 MB RAM. Has a CD drive. Good hinge, good latch.
Lot 4, Unit 2: PB 1400cs/166, boots, no removable drive or battery. Port cover door intact. Missing IR cover door, missing book cover, missing hinge covers. Screen OK, kind of dim. Boots, 16 MB RAM, 1.3 GB HD. Good hinge. Bad latch (J piece broken off)
Lot 4, Unit 3: PB 5300cs, untested
Lot 4, Unit 4: PB 3400c. Poor hinge, screen falls back unless it is set at 90 degrees. Crack on screen plastic next to "3400c" text. Has CD drive. Assumed dead battery. Screen OK but seems dim, I think all of these are just old and have gone dim. Missing port cover door. Good sound. 1.3 GB HD, 32 MB RAM. Poor trackpad button.
Lot 4, Unit 5: PB G3 400 MHz. No turn on. Lifting keyboard shows a 6 GB HD and some kind of memory installed. Looks like a complete unit but not working. Missing 3 feet.
Lot 4, Unit 6: PB G3 266 MHz, 1 MB cache, 4 MB VRAM. 14.1" screen, brightness ok but it has uneven quality. Battery actually lights up, may have some life left. Boots, 128 MB RAM, 3.8 GB HD. CD drive. Has a dial up modem.

All of yours are done. For dead laptops ANY reasonable offer accepted, I just need them gone, I'm sure they still have some great parts, but they are sold as-is.

For working laptops please PM.

Can I suggest adding the model of the 'untested' laptops. That way others can ask if they are interested in a specific model.

Done. I also put the untested ones in italics.

I am looking around the warehouse and I think I will have another lot of 6 to post soon.
